According to Drive BC, the vehicle incident has now cleared and both lanes are now open to traffic.

RCMP are reporting that Highway 16 West at Mud River is closed this morning because of a Motor Vehicle Collision.
Members of the public have reported that a chip truck was involved in the crash.
One man reports “there’s a tractor-trailer blocking all three lanes, it’s at the very bottom of the Mud River Hill, right by the bridge.
