NFL: 

–Week 10 of the NFL season begins Thursday night with Indianapolis at Tennessee. The 6-2 Titans lead the 5-3 Colts by one game in the AFC South.

Golf:

— The Masters will be held in November for the first time. The tournament tees off on Thursday. Defending champ Tiger Woods will try to capture his 6th Green Jacket.

Hockey:

–The Prince George Spruce Kings play three preseason games this weekend in the Kootenays. The Spruce Kings, who have won three of their four exhibition games, visit the Cranbrook Bucks Friday and Saturday and the Trail Smoke Eaters on Sunday.
