Soccer:

–Argentina soccer legend Diego Maradona has died following a heart attack. He was  60. Maradona captained Argentina to World Cup 1986 glory as well as reaching the final in 1990.

BCHL:

–The Wenatchee Wild have announced they are “taking a hiatus for the 2020-21 BCHL season.” All players on the team are now free agents.


Hockey Canada:

–Team Canada’s World Junior Selection camp has been paused temporarily after two players at the camp tested positive for COVID-19. Both players in question are now in quarantine at the team hotel in Red Deer. Taylor Gauthier of the Prince George Cougars is one of five goalies and 46 players at the camp.


NHL:


NFL: 

–The Baltimore at Pittsburgh NFL game that was scheduled for Thursday night has been moved to Sunday. The game was moved after positive coronavirus tests for a number of Ravens players.

–Week 12 of the NFL season will begin on the American Thanksgiving with two games on Thursday. They are Houston at Detroit (9:30 AM PT) followed by Washington at Dallas (1:30).
