Airport arrivals area gets new faces

The Prince George airport has installed a new collection of photos of city residents into the arrival area to greet travellers.

Airport spokesperson Lindsay Cotter says they photos show off the cultural diversity of the city.

“So we tried to pick as many people as we could that had some character. We have a range of ages, demographics and ethnicities, just to showcase who we are as a city.”

She says that the photos were all submitted after a public call for photos last year

“Over the couple month period where we were looking for submissions we received about 300 photos and we chose 29 from that group”

The airport decided to change the photo up because the old ones were nearing 10 years old.
