BC Hydro has been notified of one new COVID-19 case associated with Site C in Fort St. John.
Health officials have confirmed this new case is unrelated to the cases announced yesterday (December 1) and also unrelated to any other previous case.
None of these new cases this week originated at site, the company added.
Since March, BC Hydro has been notified of 16 positive cases of COVID-19 related to people working on the project.
Six of those cases are currently active, and ten have recovered.
There are currently 1,470 people at the camp and 32 individuals in isolation.
