RCMP nab assault suspect

Thanks to help from the Public the Prince George RCMP have arrested a man wanted on assault charges.

On Tuesday, members from the local detachment located and apprehended 26 year old Shaun Ray Peter at a residence in Prince George.

Peter has been charged for numerous criminal offences including:

· Assault

· Assault with a Weapon

· Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public

· Theft Under $5000

· Breach of Probation

Peter allegedly committed most of these acts in Prince George earlier this month. However, the theft charge is believed to have taken place in the city on February the 13th, 2015.

He is currently being held in custody until his first court appearance, expected this Thursday.
