World Juniors

Quinton Byfield had two goals and four assists and Devon Levi made 15 saves to pick up a shutout as Team Canada dominated Team Switzerland 10-0 to remain undefeated at the World Junior Hockey Championship.

Canada moves to 3-0 in round-robin play and will finish up the preliminary round tomorrow against Finland (2-0).

Taylor Gauthier of the PG Cougars is the third goalie for Canada.

Chicago Blackhawks forward Jonathan Toews is out indefinitely with an undisclosed illness after feeling tired and lethargic.

Toews is a three-time cup winner in the Windy City.

NBA

The slow start for the winless Toronto Raptors continued after blowing a big lead against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Joel Embid and the Sixers outscored the Raps (0-3) 52-37 in the second half to clinch a 100-93 victory.

Kyle Lowry had a team-high 24 points and nine rebounds for the Raps.

Two of the most well-known schools in college football, Oklahoma and Florida, will meet for just the second time when they take on each other in the Cotton Bowl.

The Gators and the Sooners are ranked sixth and seventh respectively.
