Devon Levi made 29 saves for the shutout. Taylor Gauthier of the Prince George Cougars is the third goalie for Canada and has not dressed in the tournament. Forward Filip Koffer of the PG Cougars played for the Czech Republic and finished the World Jrs. with one goal.

The semifinals Monday have Canada against Russia (3PM PT) and Finland vs. USA (6:30 PM).

Strike notice issued for Regional District employees

More public employees in the Prince George area could be striking soon. As of noon today (Wednesday), CUPE 1699, representing employees of the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George has issued 72-hour strike notice.
