Two cases of COVID-19 found at Site C

BC Hydro says two more cases of COVID-19 have been reported in relation to the Site C project in Fort St. John.

The company says two contractor workers on the project have tested positive today (Tuesday).

“We require people to isolate if they show any symptoms as described by the BCCDC, no matter how mild. These symptoms include sneezing, sore throat, muscle aches, headaches, cough fever or difficulty breathing,” reads the daily update on the BC Hydro Site C website.

Since March 2020, BC Hydro has been notified of 34 positive cases related to workers.

There are currently 810 individuals on-site, five of whom are in isolation.

31 people have recovered.
