–The Vancouver Canucks are in Edmonton and will face the Oilers tonight (Wednesday) and again tomorrow to begin their season. The Canucks will be without their leading scorer from last season, J.T. Miller, for the 4-game Alberta trip due to what has been reported as coronavirus testing.

NFL: (Playoffs)
–The NFL Conference semi-finals will be featured this weekend.
The four games have LA Rams at Green Bay (Saturday 1:35 PM PT) and Tampa Bay at New Orleans (Sunday 3:40 PM) in the NFC plus Baltimore at Buffalo (Saturday 5:15 PM) and Cleveland at Kansas City (Sunday 12:05 PM) in the AFC.
Home teams are favoured in each game: the Packers by 7, Bills by 2, Saints by 3 and Chiefs by 10.
NBA:
–After 10 games the (2-8) Toronto Raptors have the worst record in the NBA alongside the Detroit Pistons. The Raptors play Thursday against the (6-5) Charlotte Hornets in Tampa Bay.
