School District 57 Superintendent, Anita Richardson is now on leave and has been replaced by Deputy Superintendent of Schools, Cindy Heitman.
SD57 Board Chair, Trent Derrick confirmed that she is on leave but did not provide a reason why or for how long she will be out of the position.
Richardson started the job in December of 2019.
