$15,000 will be going towards local hockey.
At Saturday’s Hometown Hockey events, Scotiabank made the cheque out to the Prince George Minor Hockey Association.
Prince George Main Branch Manager Trevor Lutes says as Scotiabank has made similar donations as Hometown Hockey makes its way across the country.
“We seek out local hockey organizations that we can help give a boost to some legacy projects that they might have.”
Lutes says this will help the association create better experiences for local hockey players.
Hometown Hockey events go on all day and tomorrow at CN Centre.
