Jennifer Derbyshire “Safe and Sound”

41-year-old Jennifer Derbyshire of Smithers is okay.

In an email, North District RCMP Media Corporal Dave Tyreman says “Jennifer has contacted police and she is safe and sound. No other info will be provided.”

Her whereabouts has not been confirmed.

Derbyshire didn’t show up for work on Wednesday after dropping her kids off at school around 8 AM.

Tyreman confirmed she was at a Walmart in Quesnel Wednesday evening, and possibly spotted in Vernon on Thursday.
