COVID-19 outbreak at Jubilee Lodge declared over

Northern Health announced the COVID-19 outbreak at Jubilee Lodge, which was declared on December 12th, is now over.

17 residents of Jubilee Lodge who had tested positive for the virus have died in association with the nearly 8-week long outbreak.

There were 48 confirmed cases among residents and 14 cases identified among the facility’s staff.

COVID-19 outbreak protocols are being lifted at the facility as the exposure risk period has now passed.

Social visits at the lodge can now resume while following COVID-19 prevention protocols.

Visitors are being urged to contact the facility to arrange visits rather than scheduling visits in-person.
