Power outage leaves over 3,000 Prince George residents in the dark

UPDATE 1:28 PM

Crews are still on scene and all but 8 customers in the area have the power back on.

6:15 AM

The streets of Prince George were left in the dark after a power outage occurred at 8:48 pm last night (Friday).

According to BC Hydro, a motor vehicle accident just North of University Way around the Heritage area left over 3,000 customers without power.

BC Hydro Crews are on-site as of 4:21 am (Saturday).
