Less and less Winter Games staff these days

Desks are continuing to be cleared out at the Canada Winter Games Offices.

The de-commissioning phase has seen 15 people complete their time with the games.

Manager of Communications and Community Relations Alyson Gourley-Cramer says this group includes those who were coordinators.

“At the end of this month the majority of the management group will have completed their term,” says Gourley-Cramer, “and their contracts with the games, so that will leave only a few directors and the CEO left with the games.”

Gourley-Cramer says CEO Stu Ballantyne will be done in September.

She says some of those who are done with the games have either started looking at other large sport events or have looked for other opportunities.
