Violent offender arrested after traffic stop

A local man known to be violent and facing an arrest warrant was apprehended earlier this morning.

Robert Lee Milligan, a 32 year old Prince George man with a long history of violence and weapons, was located during a routine traffic stop in the Lombardi Trailer Park this morning.

Just before 7 am, officers executed the stop at the trailer park, located on Norwood Street. Milligan was identified as a passenger and taken into custody.

Milligan now faces a breached probation charge and is expected to appear in Provincial court either today or tomorrow.
