WHL: (BC Division)

As part of a revised schedule, the Prince George Cougars will play their next game Sunday night at 6:00 against the Vancouver Giants in Kamloops. The Cougars are 1-2 after Thursday’s 6-1 loss to the Blazers while the Giants are 2-1.

–Tyler Brennan of the Prince George Cougars is one one three goalies named to represent Canada at the 2021 Under-18 World Hockey Championship. The tournament will run from April 26th to May 6th in Frisco and Plano, Texas. The 25-man Canadian roster also includes eight defensemen and 14 forwards.

The puck will drop tonight for the Prince George Spruce Kings. The Spruce Kings begin their 20-game, 5-week schedule against the Chiefs in Chilliwack. The Chiefs began their season Friday with a 5-2 victory over the Merritt Centennials. The Spruce Kings Chilliwack and Merritt 10 times each with all games starting at 5 p.m. at the Chilliwack Coliseum.

Five more players have been added to the Vancouver Canucks NHL’s COVID-19 protocols. This brings the total number of players from the team on the list to seven. One coach has also been added to the list.
