AstraZeneca now available at Prince George pharmacies

Doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine have been made available to ten Prince George pharmacies, according to the B.C. Pharmacy Association.

AstraZeneca is currently set aside for people between the ages of 55 and 65.

As of Friday, doses are available at four Shoppers Drug Mart locations, Superstore, Walmart and Costco, Spruceland Save-On-Foods, Third Avenue Pharmacy, and Hart Drug Mart.

It is also available at locations in Quesnel, Fort St. John, and Terrace.

Pharmacies with online booking ask that you attempt to book online before phoning.

Patients will be required to bring their personal health number.

Some locations may allow drop-ins, as well.
