Prince George’s 3rd annual Colour Walk coming up

The Prince George Hospice Society will be brightening up the city with the 3rd annual Colour Walk next month.

Organizers are challenging Prince George residents to walk 100km in the month of May to raise money for the Rotary Hospice House.

You can join by raising pledges, walking, or supporting someone else walking their 100km.

Participants are asked to take part in the event from their favorite walking destinations, with their ‘bubble.’

Due to COVID-19, the walk will heavily depend on social media — walkers are encouraged to showcase their outfits online.

“We will be featuring a weekly colour sponsor that will include fun games like I spy, a sidewalk chalk drawing competition and many other fun things to encourage everyone along the way,” said Spokesperson Donna Flood.

“Join as a family, as an individual or as a team. The 100km goal may be shared amongst your team.”
