Coastal GasLink invests $180k in UNBC programs

UNBC and Coastal GasLink are partnering up to provide $180,000 over the next three years to support civil and environmental engineering programs as well as funding for Indigenous students.

Coastal GasLink Legacy Scholarships will provide ten awards worth $3,000 each for UNBC civil and environmental engineering students.

Applications for the scholarships can be submitted for the Fall 2021, Fall 2022 and Fall 2023 semesters.

Indigenous students enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate program are also eligible to apply for awards worth $3,000 beginning in the fall semester.

Ten awards will be available each year, for the next three years.

UNBC says the scholarships directly address needs and barriers identified by local Indigenous communities for flexible financial post-secondary support.
