WHL: (BC Division)

The (5-7-1-1) Prince George Cougars play the (12-2) Blazers tonight at 7:00 in Kamloops. The Cougars, coming off Monday’s 4-1 victory over Victoria, are 0-4 this season against the first-place Blazers. Kamloops is riding an overall 5-game win streak.

In the WHL Tuesday, Kamloops beat Vancouver 2-1 and Kelowna outscored Victoria 5-1, the 10th straight loss for the Royals. Scott Cousins of Prince George, an undrafted player who turned 17 in January, scored his first WHL goal for Kelowna in his 6th game.

BCHL:

The (9-3-0-1) Prince George Spruce Kings play the (2-10) Merritt Centennials tonight at 5:00. The Spruce Kings blanked the Centennials 3-0 Sunday for their 4th straight victory. P.G. is 6-0 this season against Merritt. Prince George has a 1-point lead over the (9-5) Chiefs in the 3-team Chilliwack Pod.

NHL: 

(North Division) 

None of the Canadian NHL teams were in action Tuesday.

The (19-20-3) Vancouver Canucks play the last-place Senators again today (2:30 PT) in Ottawa. It is the 4th straight meeting between the two teams. Vancouver has slipped 10 points back of Montreal for the last playoff spot with the Canucks holding five games in hand.

The Canadiens are home this evening against Toronto while Edmonton visits Winnipeg.
