Prince George Cougars  5  Kamloops Blazers  1
(Taylor Gauthier made 37 saves and Keaton Dowhaniuk notched a goal and three assists to lead the Cougars, who beat the first-place Blazers for the first time in five meetings this season. The (6-7-1-1) Cougars, with seven games remaining, play the Victoria Royals Friday night in Kamloops. The (1-13-1) Royals have lost 10 straight)

Prince George Spruce Kings  7  Merritt Centennials  0
(Christian Buono scored three goals and Jordan Farlie blocked 16 shots for the shutout. The (10-3-0-1) Spruce Kings have won five straight and are 7-0 this season against the (2-12) Centennials. Prince George has a 3-point lead over the (9-5) Chiefs in the 3-team Chilliwack Pod with six games left. The Spruce Kings play Chilliwack Friday night at 5:00)
