The Prince George RCMP responded to two bear spray attacks on Monday night.
The first incident occurred at 8:30 pm at a business on the 1700 Block of Queensway.
“In that incident, there was an unknown assailant that just randomly sprayed the victim with bear spray,” explained PG RCMP Constable Jeniffer Cooper.
A little while later at about 10:40 pm, a woman sitting in her car at the Central Street Tim Horton’s was approached by a male suspect.
He asked then asked her to roll down her window and the suspect then quickly attacked.
Currently, police don’t have a suspect so the events aren’t believed to be connected.
However, Cooper added, “It would be odd to have two bear spray attacks within two hours of each other that aren’t connected but we don’t have a good description of the suspect from either attacks.”
RCMP are now asking anyone with information on the incidents or with Dashcam footage of the areas at the time to contact them.
