BC residents 30+ now able to signup for AstraZeneca shot at participating pharmacies

BC’s vaccine program is taking another step forward.

Residents 30 years of age and up are now able to join waitlists to receive a dose of AstraZeneca at participating pharmacies.

Previously, those only 40 and over were able to sign up for their shot at a local pharmacy.

Twelve pharmacies in Prince George are taking part in the AstraZeneca/COVISHIELD COVID-19 program.

Brendan is the news voice on 94.3 The Goat and Country 97 FM, reporting on crime, real estate, labour, and environmental issues. Outside of work, he officiates box lacrosse and fastball, sits on the Prince George Sports Hall of Fame board, and co-hosts the Hockey North podcast.

City Council orders nuisance activities stop at Quentin Avenue property

Prince George City Council took action to address a nuisance property at tonight's (Monday) meeting. According to a staff report to Council, the property, located at 4235 Quentin Avenue, has been the subject of 25 calls for service from Bylaw Services, as well as 19 visits from the RCMP since July 2024.
