A few slight changes will be coming to the Little Prince Steam Engine this summer.
The Exploration Place will be changing the days and hours the steam engine is open.
CEO Tracy Calogheros says they will be starting their operation as usual on the May Long Weekend.
“And we will just be running for the weekends on May and June as well as the statutory holidays,” says Calogheros, “and then for July and August we will be running for five days a week, and we are going to extend the daytime hours as well, instead of noon to four it will be noon to eight.”
Calogheros says a Railway Family Pass will be sold for $60 which gets you unlimited rides on days when the train is operating.
She says they hope these changes will generate more revenue to keep the Little Prince operational.
