There are two NHL playoff games tonight (Thursday): Boston at New York Islanders (4:30 PT) and Carolina at Tampa Bay (5:00). The Bruins and Islanders are tied 1-1 while Tampa is up 2-0 over the Hurricanes.

World Hockey:

Team Canada is up against Russia today (10:15 a.m. PT) in the quarterfinals at the world hockey championship in Latvia. Canada was fourth in Group B while Russia came first in Group A.

 

WHL:

The Prince George Cougars will pick 15th in the WHL’s 2021 prospects draft, formerly the bantam draft. The Spokane Chiefs have the first selection. The draft is scheduled for December 9th.
