World Hockey:

Team Canada beat Finland 3-2 in overtime in the gold medal game today (Sunday) at the world hockey championship in Latvia. Nick Paul scored the winner on an assist from Ottawa Senators teammate Connor Brown. The United States captured bronze after a 6-1 victory over Germany. In the semifinals, Canada beat the United States 4-2 while Finland outscored Germany 2-1.
