(Carey Price made 26 saves to lower his goals-against average to 1.97 and improve his save percentage to .938 in 10 playoff games. The Canadiens, riding a 6-game winning streak, lead the best-of-7 second-round series 3-0 and will go for a sweep tonight (5:00 PT) in Montreal)

(The series is tied 2-2)

There are two NHL playoff games tonight (Monday): New York Islanders at Boston (3:30 PT) and Winnipeg at Montreal (5:00 PT). The Islanders and Bruins are tied 2-2. The series between the Lightning and Hurricanes will resume on Tuesday (3:30 PT) in Carolina with Tampa Bay ahead 3-1.

World Hockey:

Nick Paul scored in overtime to give Team Canada a 3-2 victory over Finland in the gold medal game at the world hockey championship in Latvia. Canada won the tournament despite starting with three straight losses. The United States captured bronze after a 6-1 triumph over Germany. In the semifinals, Canada beat the U.S. 4-2 while Finland outscored Germany 2-1.
