PG RCMP investigating church arson

Prince George RCMP are investigating a fire at Trinity United Church, located on 5th ave.

Local firefighters responded to a call early morning on Sunday.

“A fire investigator from the Prince George RCMP attended the location and determined that the fire was the result of arson,” said Cst. Jennifer Cooper of the Prince George RCMP.

“At this time investigators are requesting that anyone with information about this event or who may have dashcam footage or surveillance from that neighbourhood between the hours of 1:45 a.m. and 2:25 a.m. please contact police with the information.”

The arson is still under investigation.
