UPDATE: power outage has been resolved for most of PG

UPDATE 2:45:

Bob Gammer with BC Hydro said there’s only one customer currently experiencing a power outage, the rest have been restored.

1:23:

316 people in downtown Prince George are seeing a power outage.

According to BC Hydro, a semi-trailer rig collided with a power pole near the Courthouse.

“It’s too early to say how long it will take to get the power back on,” said Bob Gammer with BC Hydro.

“Right now we are waiting for the crew to update their assessment of the work that needs to be done, and we are also waiting for our control center to see if they can get customers switched over quickly,” he added.

Gammer said the power pole will need to be replaced, but it’s a developing situation.
