Three arrests made in connection to 2016 homicide investigation

The Prince George RCMP have arrested three former PG residents in connection to a 5-year-old homicide investigation.

On June 15, 2016, Police were called to a shooting on Forest Avenue near Ospika Boulevard where they found 33-year-old Robert Milligan shot to death in the driveway of his home.

It was determined early on by members of the PG RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit that this was a targeted shooting.

Last Friday, police arrested Cuyler Aubichon, Kelly Richet, and Chris Russell for the shooting death of Milligan.

BC Prosecution Services have since approved the charges and the three remain in custody.

PG RCMP arrest Quesnel man after fire at local transfer station

The Prince George RCMP say a Quesnel resident has been arrested following a report of a fire at a transfer station. At around 9:00 Monday morning, Mounties received a report of the fire at the transfer station on 11300 Miworth Road, with one suspect identified by witnesses. 

Masich Place Stadium among parks to undergo seasonal closure

Tomorrow (Friday) is the last day for public walking at Masich Place Stadium. In addition, Carrie Jane Grey Park and Connaught Hill Park will also be closed to vehicle traffic.
