The Prince George RCMP are currently on site of a vehicle collision on Highway 97N near Old Summit Lake Road.
According to Prince George RCMP Constable Jennifer Cooper, the incident is involving one logging truck and at least one other vehicle.
Motorists are being told to expect delays as emergency responders are en route.
“Highway 97N is currently closed in both directions and will remain so for several hours while emergency personnel attends to the incident and those affected,” she added.
The PG Regional Highway Rescue Facebook page claims the incident was a head-on collision.
“The Prince George RCMP is advising motorists to take alternate routes where available,” added Cooper.
