Four properties in PG ordered to clean up

In Monday’s City Council meeting, the city took action on four properties in the area that had been receiving complaints due to being unkempt.

7695 Pearl Drive, 3957 and 3951 Crawford Place, and 3962 Balsam Road, all in the Hart area, were ordered by the city to clean up their yards by September 9.

The properties at Crawford Place and Balsam Road are right next to each other and owned by the same family, and the yards were considered a fire hazard due to firefighters not being able to properly access the property.

Bylaw had tried to intervene with these properties on multiple occasions, some efforts had been made to try to clean up each of these properties, but they were still deemed a problem by the city.

Things like derelict vehicles, a damaged camper, trailers, machinery, old appliances, and dilapidated furniture littered the yards.
