Prince George Cougars fans will need to be vaccinated to attend games

All WHL spectators will be required to provide full proof of immunization against COVID-19 prior to attending any of the games in Prince George, Kamloops, Kelowna, Vancouver, or Victoria.

WHL Commissioner Ron Robison shared his support for the new policy.

“The Western Hockey League and our five member Clubs in British Columbia fully respect and appreciate the position taken by the Government of B.C.,” said Robison. “We are committed to implementing these new required measures in each of our five B.C. communities.”

The announcement was made earlier this week, as the province will introduce a new vaccine card system in the coming weeks.
