PG residents can receive up to $8000 to help the community

Applications are open for the myPG Community Grants, which help not-for-profit groups and community organizations making Prince George a better place.

The City of Prince George is looking for great ideas, events, and projects, and eligible initiatives can receive anywhere from $900 to $8000 depending on the project.

Applications are open until October 15, 2021, and will be evaluated on:

  • Increasing community pride
  • Encouraging a safe community
  • Providing social connections for citizens
  • Encouraging physical activity
  • Providing opportunities for involvement in arts and culture
  • Ensuring equity and inclusion

The City accepts grant applications twice per calendar year (March 15).

Organizations can submit different project applications for both intakes.

Downtown Summerfest set for Saturday
