PG apartment fire causes $200,000 in damage

Prince George Fire Rescue responded to an apartment fire at 3155 Westwood Drive this morning (Sunday) just after 7:00.

Damage is estimated at $200,000.

19 firefighters responded to the blaze and found smoke coming from a third-floor window, with a person stranded on the balcony.

The person was rescued and the fire was limited to the unit it came from.

Nobody was injured and the fire is currently under investigation.
