Cougars making grand plans for home opener

The wait is almost over for Prince George Cougar fans.

The WHL club announced plans for its home opener on Saturday against the Kamloops Blazers.

“To say our staff is thrilled to be welcoming our fans back to our Home Opener is a huge understatement,” said Cougars Vice President, Business Andy Beesley.

“We have many new promotions this season, with one of the biggest being our new online 50/50 sales, which allow anyone 19+ in BC to purchase tickets online in the days leading up to some of our biggest games.”

The Cougars 50/50 Society has launched online sales for the team’s five jackpots, including the home opener.

In addition, the Cougars and Northern Health are providing a pop-up COVID-19 vaccine clinic prior to the game.

It will be outside of the main entrance of CN Centre from 3-7 pm. The clinic is open to anyone eligible (12+) for their first or second dose.

All fans in attendance will need to wear masks as well as show their BC Vaccine Card.
