The Prince George Spruce Kings split their first two games on the road.
The Spruce Kings crushed Merritt 8-1 Friday before losing 5-3 to West Kelowna on Saturday.
The (1-1) Spruce Kings entertain the (0-2) Merritt Centennials on Friday and Saturday in their first home games of the season.

Canada West Soccer: (UNBC Timberwolves)
The UNBC Timberwolves were idle on the long weekend in Canada West Soccer. The Timberwolves have just four games remaining in each division. The UNBC soccer teams visit Fraser Valley on Friday and Sunday before hosting Thompson Rivers on October 23rd and 24th (at Masich Place starting at noon for the women and 2:15 for the men).
The UNBC men have one win, four losses, and three ties after eight games while the UNBC women have one win, six losses, and one tie.
