Cougars solve overage dilemma by dealing Kaddoura to Moose Jaw

The Prince George Cougars are now down to three twenty-year-olds.

Today (Tuesday) the Cats acquired a 7th round selection in the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft from the Moose Jaw Warriors, in exchange for 20-year-old defenceman Majid Kaddoura.

Kaddoura has four penalty minutes in two games this season.

The Chestermere, Alberta product had 13 points in 48 regular-season games over three seasons with Prince George.

In addition, the Cougars also sent 18-year-old forward Mike Svenson to the Winkler Flyers in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.

The Cougars’ roster now sits at 23 players: three goaltenders, seven defencemen, and 13 forwards.

Connor Bowie, Taylor Gauthier, and Jonny Hooker are the club’s 20-year-old players.
