WHL (PG Cougars)

Craig Armstrong broke a 2-2 tie with a pair of third-period goals, the winner with just over 14 minutes left and then one into an empty net in the final minute. Victoria went just 1-for-10 on the power-play.

Rookie Riley Heidt snapped a 1-1 tie with just over four minutes left in regulation.

The (2-3) Cougars visit the (1-6) Royals Friday and Saturday before they meet again on October 26th and 27th in Prince George.
