The (5-1) Spruce Kings play their next two games against the Vees: Wednesday in Prince George and Friday, Oct 29th in Penticton.

WHL (PG Cougars)

The (2-3) Prince Cougars are on Vancouver Island for a couple of games against the (1-6) Victoria Royals tonight and Saturday in Victoria. The same teams will also meet Tuesday and Wednesday in Prince George. The Cougars beat the Royals 3-1 and 4-2 last weekend at CN Centre.

BC Elite Hockey League:

(Cariboo Cougars U18 AAA & Northern Capitals Female U18 AAA)

The (4-4) Cariboo Cougars visit the (3-3-1-1) Fraser Valley Thunderbirds Saturday night at 5:00 and Sunday morning at 9:45 in Abbotsford. Both teams are tied for 6th in the 12-team league with eight points.

The (4-3-0-1) Northern Capitals have road games Saturday and Sunday against the (2-4) Vancouver Island Seals.

MLB: (5th game in the best-of-7 National League Championship Series)

LA Dodgers  11  Atlanta  2

The Braves lead the NLCS 3-2 with Game 6 Saturday in Atlanta.

The American League Championship Series has returned to Houston for Game 6 tonight (5:08 PT). The Astros lead the Boston Red Sox 3-2.

Canada West Soccer: (UNBC Timberwolves)

The UNBC Timberwolves conclude their regular season in Canada West Soccer by hosting the Thompson Rivers Wolfpack Saturday and Sunday at Masich Place Stadium (noon kickoff for the women and 2:15 for the men).

The UNBC men have one win, four losses, and five ties after 10 games while the UNBC women have one win, eight losses, and one tie.

NFL: (Week 7)

Cleveland  17  Denver  14

The Browns improved to 4-3 while the Broncos slipped to 3-4 after losing their 4th in a row.

The 6-0 Arizona Cardinals are the only NFL team with a perfect record.

Five teams are 5-1: Baltimore, Dallas, Green Bay, LA Rams, and Tampa Bay.

The 0-6 Detroit Lions are the only winless team.

Week 12 of the CFL season begins tonight with Montreal hosting Toronto (4:30 PT).

The B.C. Lions visit league-leading Winnipeg on Saturday (4:00 p.m. PT).

West: Winnipeg 9-1, Saskatchewan 5-4, Calgary  5-5, B.C. 4-5, and Edmonton 2-7
East:  Toronto 6-3, Montreal 5-4, Hamilton 4-5, and Ottawa 2-8.
