The Prince George Cougars have won four straight games, all against the Victoria Royals. In the four games, P.G. has outscored Victoria 16-5, including 4-1 on Saturday in the provincial capital. The (4-3) Cougars host the (1-8) Royals again Wednesday in Prince George. Victoria has lost seven straight.

The (2-4-0-2) Cariboo Cougars U15 team lost to the (5-3) Okanagan Rockets in Kelowna 4-2 on Saturday and 4-3 in overtime on Sunday.

The U15 Cats will be home to the (1-7) South Island Royals on Saturday and Sunday. Opening faceoffs are 1:15 p.m. and 7:15 a.m. at Kin 1.

 

BCHL (PG Spruce Kings)

The (5-1) Prince George Spruce Kings play their next two games against the (5-0) Vees; Wednesday in Prince George and Friday in Penticton.

The Spruce Kings won both of their games at the BCHL Showcase in Chilliwack: 4-1 over Wenatchee on Wednesday and 3-2 over Victoria on Thursday.

The Braves won the NLCS 4-2 to advance to the World Series for the first time since 1999. Atlanta will visit the Houston Astros in the first two games on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Astros also took the American League Championship Series in six games, skunking the Boston Red Sox 5-0 on Friday.
