Over $63,000 was raised during the July event at the Prince George Golf & Curling Club. To date, the tournament has raised close to $650,000 for healthcare across the north. “I want to extend a big thank you to the committee members, sponsors, and participants for making this golf tournament such a huge success despite significant challenges and hurdles we faced due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Cougars Vice President, Business Andy Beesley. “The enthusiasm, dedication and hard work everyone put in was nothing short of inspirational, and from the entire Cougars organization, we are very grateful to have such wonderful people, businesses, and organizations to partner with.” For the last six years, fundraising was primarily focused on cardiac care. However, in 2021, the funds were centered around vital cardiac equipment and care.
