WHL: 

Prince George Cougars  1  Vancouver Giants  0

Tyler Brennan made 27 saves for his second shutout of the season before 1,453 fans.

Connor Bowie scored the only goal and it came on a 2nd period power-play as the (6-6) Cougars ended a three-game losing skid.

It was the first victory this season for P.G. against an opponent other than the Victoria Royals.

The (6-3-1) Giants are in 2nd place in the B.C. Division but just a point ahead of Prince George and two ahead of Kelowna.

The same teams meet again tonight (Wednesday) as CN Centre as the Cougars continue a 6-game homestand.

The (5-6-2) Canucks finished 2-4-1 on a 7-game homestand.

Vancouver will start a 3-game road trip Thursday night at 6:00 (PT) when they visit the Colorado Avalanche.

ue: (Cariboo Cougars U18 AAA & Northern Capitals Female U18 AAA)

The Northern Capitals U-18 female AAA hockey team visits the (0-10) Greater Vancouver Comets Saturday night at 5:15 and Sunday afternoon at 12:15 in Richmond.

The (9-5-0-1) Capitals are in 1st place in the 5-team league by three points over the (8-0) Fraser Valley Rush, however, Fraser Valley has seven games in hand.

The (5-7-1-1) U-18 Cariboo Cougars are idle until the Nov 20th-21st weekend when they host the (10-2-1-1) Vancouver NE Chiefs in a doubleheader at Kin 1. Cariboo is in 8th place in the 10-team league.

NFL:

Week 10 of the NFL season starts Thursday with Baltimore at Miami.

At the midway point of the season (with nine of 18 weeks completed), Arizona has the best record in the NFL at 8-1 followed by LA Rams, Green Bay, and Tennessee at 7-2 with Baltimore, Tampa Bay, and Dallas at 6-2.

The (4-8) Lions have lost six straight. B.C will close out its season with a home game against Edmonton on November 19th.
