WHL: 

Vancouver Giants  5  Prince George Cougars  3  (Wednesday)

The Giants scored three times on the power-play, including a pair from Adam Hall, less than two minutes apart in the second period before 1,709 fans at CN Centre.

The (6-7) Cougars are 1-1 on a six-game homestand that continues Friday and Saturday against the (6-3-0-1) Kelowna Rockets.

 

Prince George Cougars  1  Vancouver Giants  0  (Tuesday)

Tyler Brennan made 27 saves for his second shutout of the season before 1,453 fans.

ue: (Cariboo Cougars U18 AAA & Northern Capitals Female U18 AAA)

The Northern Capitals U-18 female AAA hockey team visits the (0-10) Greater Vancouver Comets Saturday night at 5:15 and Sunday afternoon at 12:15 in Richmond.

The (9-5-0-1) Capitals are in 1st place in the 5-team league by three points over the (8-0) Fraser Valley Rush, however, Fraser Valley has seven games in hand.

The (5-7-1-1) U-18 Cariboo Cougars are idle until the Nov 20th-21st weekend when they host the (10-2-1-1) Vancouver NE Chiefs in a doubleheader at Kin 1. Cariboo is in 8th place in the 10-team league.

NFL:

Week 10 of the NFL season starts tonight at 5:20 (PT)  with (6-2) Baltimore at (2-7) Miami.

At the midway point of the season (with nine of 18 weeks completed), Arizona has the best record in the NFL at 8-1 followed by LA Rams, Green Bay, and Tennessee at 7-2 with Baltimore, Tampa Bay, and Dallas at 6-2.

Calgary at  B.C. Lions  Friday 7:30 PM

The (4-8) Lions have lost six straight. B.C will close out its season with a home game against Edmonton on November 19th.

Winnipeg  at  Montreal  Saturday 10:00 AM
Edmonton  at  Saskatchewan  Saturday 1:00 PM

The UNBC Timberwolves are off in Canada West basketball until Nov 26th and 27th when they host the UBC Thunderbirds.
