Downtown encampment fire destroys small shelter

Emergency crews responded to a fire located at a homeless encampment at 5th Avenue and Ottawa Street.

It happened just after 11 am this morning (Friday).

According to fire crews, a small shelter was destroyed and the investigation is ongoing.

RCMP confirmed to MyPGNow.com there were no reported injuries.
