PG RCMP reminds drivers to slow down when navigating through snowy roads

A few minor car accidents have occurred on city roads today (Wednesday) as the snow continues to fall.

That’s according to the Prince George RCMP.

Cpl. Jennifer Cooper spoke with MyPGNow.com.

“It’s kind of almost mixed conditions so we are just urging drivers to use extra caution when they are driving and to go a little bit slower than giving yourself extra room to stop.”

According to Environment Canada, about five centimetres of snow is expected.

Overnight temperatures are expected to warm up to plus three with a predicted high of plus eight degrees by tomorrow (Thursday).
