WHL:

The (7-10) Prince George Cougars visit the (9-5-0-2) Kelowna Rockets tonight (Saturday) as the Cats begin a string of six straight games on the road.

The Rockets beat Spokane 2-1 in a shootout Friday night.

The Cougars are 4th in the B.C. Division, five points behind Vancouver and six back of Kelowna.

BC Elite Hockey League: (Cariboo Cougars U18 AAA)

The U-18 Cariboo Cougars visit the (5-9-1-1) Thompson Blazers today at 2:45 p.m. and Sunday at 12:30 p.m. in Kamloops.

The (5-7-1-1) Cougars are in 8th place in the 10-team league.

The same teams meet again tonight at the Northern Sport Centre starting with the women at 5:00 followed by the men at 7:00.

The UNBC women are 4-1 on the season while the men are 2-3.

UBC is 2-5 in the women’s division and 7-0 in the men’s division.

The CFL playoffs begin Sunday with the division semifinals.

In the East, Montreal is at Hamilton (10:00 a.m.) and in the West, Calgary plays at Saskatchewan (1:30 p.m.).
