Last night (Saturday) Highway 97 was shut down by Shady Lane, on the Hart, due to a vehicle incident.
RCMP said in a statement that two people were struck by a vehicle as they tried to cross the highway.
Police added that the driver is cooperating with the investigation, and both pedestrians were taken to the hospital.
The highway re-opened late last night.
More information is slated to come out tomorrow (Monday).
